Okay I think I am running into a file size issue. Nancy didn't you say you talked to Sarah about limits? I don't recall what explanation you were given.
I spent several hours looking for and finding great icons to use in my courses and have uploaded them successfully but they do not appear in the image file. It is so irritating to finally have the technical skills to do this and possibly have it blocked by arbitrary limits. Of course I don't know this for sure or where the limits have been set (HCC or Angel) or why, if they have been set locally.

Cindi - hmmmmm, none of them are showing up? Maybe we should get together sometime this week to figure it out? -Carrie
Well some of them show up. The first few I added show up, but unless I delete some, the later ones do not appear when I go through the Advanced Settings and click on the icon URL option. I can see them when I go to the Image file on the home page, but there appears to be a limit to how many I have access to when I go through the settings option.
I am at home today waiting for the repairman. My fridge is on the fritz. But (as long as s/he comes today and doesn't reschedule) I will be at school tomorrow. I have lab at 4 pm and can be there just about any time if you want to look at my problem. Thanks again for your help! I really appreciate it. Cindi

Here is the latest. GRRRR I have been playing with the icons. After I finished the required stuff. And I tried saving a new file with the same name and nothing happened. Even more surprising, I deleted the file, saved it as the same name and when I looked at the class, guess what? The original icon is what appeared. The file first was deleted and replaced with a file with the same name but a different icon and, there it was, like a bad penny, the first icon right where it was before. I tried refreshing the page and logging out and back in. Still the original icon. How weird is that?
I am close to giving up. but it is so irritating. And I hate being told I can't do something.
The file I deleted is not listed in the image file and the new one I uploaded IS listed when I click on the image file from the home page. HOWEVER when I click on 'icon URL' in the 'settings' the new file is nowhere to be seen. The old file is visible. the one I have deleted. I would try and delete it again but it isn't listed so.....
